§ Reading this table

The two halves cover different spans. Gate counts come from admission_gate_log; P&L comes from the ledger, which reaches further back. Compare sources against each other, not the absolute totals.
P&L is summed over ledger LEGS, so BAG legs double-count (#1344, ~33% N inflation). The canonical book collapses them. Rank with this, never quote the total.
A 99% admit rate is not a compliment — it means the gate is not selecting on that source at all. Look for high admit rate paired with negative $/entry: that is a filter doing nothing while the source bleeds.
$/entry is the ranking column. Rejection volume flatters a filter; dollars per admitted entry does not.
